Long edge ≤2560px · JPG · ≤1MB — inbox friendly
Email is strict about attachment size (most providers cap at 20–25MB total, corporate gateways lower), and heavy image attachments often trip spam filters. Compressing photos to ≤1MB each at quality 80 JPG lets a whole album fit in one mail that opens fast.
